Avid reader of the magazines \u201cCinema\u201d and \u201cFilm\u201d as a boy, in 1946 he started working with the radio channel Radio Trieste, for which he would cover the Venice Film Festival. A contributor for \u201cPanorama\u201d, \u201cla Repubblica\u201d, and \u201cCorriere della Sera\u201d, he founded the production company 22 Dicembre, which realised several adapted screenplays for cinema, television and theatre.
